Sub: [Use of microphones]

Sir’,

I shall be highly obliged if you kindly allow me a little space in your esteemed daily to ventilate the inconveniences of the peace-loving people caused by the thoughtless use of microphones.

Microphones are a wonderful gift of science. They are used mainly at religious festivals. But religious festivals today have become a fearful occasion. At any festival religious, social or cultural the use of microphones has become almost fashion.  From dawn to midnight microphones blare out cheap Hindi film songs to irritate the peace-loving people to the point of madness. The blaring sound of the microphones hampers the students to prepare their lessons and troubles the elderly persons who very suffer from insomnia. Thoughtless use of microphones is a source of disgust rather than delight and tells upon our health.

It is high time that the authority should take stern steps to regulate the use of microphones for the interest of peace-loving people.

Thanking you
